It’s safe to say the internet is here to stay thanks to GitHub. Earlier in 2020, 21 terabytes of GitHub open source repository data was transferred to 186 reels of digital photosensitive archival film, now preserved alongside other valuables in Arctic vaults in case of a doomsday situation.
